The United States' stockpile of important missiles in the Iran war has decreased extensively.
In the war with Iran, the United States has used about one-third of its total stockpile of important precision-guided weapons that existed before the start of the war.
➡️ The most pressure has fallen on air defense interceptors.
Out of an estimated 360 THAAD interceptors, 190–290, or up to about 80 percent, have been used.
➡️ In the case of SM-3 interceptors, more than half of the stockpile has also been used.
It is estimated that 130–250 out of a total of about 410 have already been spent.
➡️ The stockpile of Patriot interceptors has also decreased significantly.
Out of about 2,330 that existed before the war, 1,060–1,430, or up to about 61 percent, have been used.
➡️ Not only defensive missiles, but the United States' stockpile of long-range strike weapons has also decreased on a large scale.
Among these, more than 1,000 Tomahawk and more than 1,100 JASSM missiles have been used.
➡️ Almost the entire stock of PrSM missiles, which had a relatively smaller stockpile, has been used.
Out of an estimated 90 that existed before the war, 40–70 have already been launched.
➡️ As a result of this usage, replenishing the United States' stockpile, especially in the case of air defense interceptors and long-range precision-guided weapons, could become a major challenge.
