The incident revolves around a delivery rider of India's online grocery delivery platform Blinkit. He went to deliver an order. The total value of the order was less than just 15 Taka.

Usually, people do not give much tips on such small orders. Many do not give any at all. But after the delivery was finished, a female customer gave him a tip of 500 Taka.

The rider was so surprised that he immediately recorded a video. In the video, showing the 500 Taka note, he says, "Didi gave me a 500 Taka tip." After that, he also shows the screen of his earnings for that day from his Blinkit app!

It is seen in the video that his total income from working all day that day was only 97 Taka. He mentions that 500 Taka is equal to almost two days of his income. That is, the money the customer gave as a tip in a few seconds, he usually has to work hard for two days to earn that money. While saying this, he is visibly emotional and thanks that unknown woman repeatedly.

The video went viral on social media. It received more than 13 million views and more than 1.6 million likes. Many commented that perhaps the woman herself has gone through hard times in life, so she could understand the hardship of a hardworking delivery worker. Others said that if one has the means, giving delivery workers at least a 20–30 Taka tip can also be a big help for them.
