Strengthening Afghan–Uzbekistan relations: A big deal of half a billion dollars
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has stated that an important conference was held between the delegations of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, where collaborative agreements totaling 514.80 million US dollars were signed between the private sectors of both countries and the Namangan province of Uzbekistan.
According to the ministry, these agreements include the construction of a charcoal production plant in Afghanistan, as well as the export and import of cement and coal, dried fruits, spices, oil, gasoline, bitumen, copper, food items, non-alcoholic beverages, sports services, and several other products.
It is noteworthy that this conference was held after an important Uzbek delegation led by the Governor of Namangan, Uzbekistan, Abdul Razakov, recently arrived in Kabul with the aim of strengthening trade and investment strategies between Kabul and Tashkent.
