What is humiliation and disgrace for a person?

To govern a person with a law contrary to their beliefs. To force them to live by a law contrary to their beliefs.
Look, see what Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani Rahimahullah says,
الحكم على الشخص بما لا يعتقده ويضطر إلى احتماله يستلزم الذل. (فتح الباري للعسقلاني، كتاب الجزية، باب الجزية والموادعة مع أهل الذمة والحرب، ٤٧٤/٩)

To give a person a ruling according to what they do not believe and to force them to accept it necessitates humiliation. - Fath al-Bari 9/474

And for how many years now has the Muslim Ummah been forced to live according to laws outside of their belief, the Sharia!

Even after this, how can we Muslims say that we are doing well.
